Back in September, on National Public Lands Day, the Washington Trails Association, the Friends of Palisades, and the Inland Northwest Land Conservancy came together to start a brand new loop trail on the north side of Palisades City Park. This new loop trail will take users (and wildlife) throughout the northernmost portion of the park, in what was the Rimrock to Riverside addition, owned and managed by the Conservancy. A lot of great work got done back in September, but there’s still plenty to do! No experience is necessary, so please join us in continuing this trail building work!
If you’d like to get your hands dirty and break in some new trail with a great crew, please register yourself and anyone else that you plan to bring along using the online form below! Unregistered volunteers will not be able to join the work project for liability reasons.
You’ll get a confirmation email with more information, but here are the basic details for the project:
- Date: Saturday, November 16th
- Time: 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Meeting Location: The Houston Road parking area of Palisades City Park (click HERE for a Google Pin to the location)
