Join us for Reforest Spokane Day 2024!
Help us restore our local forests by planting trees at the beautiful James T. Slavin Conservation Area, located just south of Spokane. This community tree-planting event is a collaboration between The Lands Council, Inland Northwest Land Conservancy (INLC), Spokane County Parks, US Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS), and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).

Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Two shifts: 9:00-11:00 AM & 11:00 AM-1:00 PM)

Who: Families, individuals, and groups of all ages are welcome!

What to Bring: Water bottle, dress for the weather and bring a shovel if you have one (we’ll have extras available).

About the Event
Reforest Spokane Day is an annual effort to restore Spokane’s natural beauty and biodiversity by planting native trees and shrubs. Volunteers will help improve wildlife habitats, combat climate change, and protect the environment for future generations.
Refreshments
We’re excited to partner with local businesses to provide treats from Rocket Bakery and coffee from Roast House to keep our volunteers energized!
Know Before You Go

Please be prepared for the weather with sturdy shoes, layered clothing, and a rain jacket if necessary.

A porta-potty will be available approximately 1/4 mile from the planting site.
