Some Things Are
Better Left Bare

The iconic Glen Tana property represents one of the last near-urban wild spaces in the Inland Northwest.

Here, moose, elk, deer, coyotes, and eagles roam freely. Two miles of pristine riverfront host salmon reintroduction efforts led by the Spokane Tribe of Indians. Towering ponderosa pines offer shelter to countless creatures, while providing clean air and water for us all. And thanks to a partnership with Washington State Parks, Glen Tana has the potential to become an extension of Riverside State Park—offering miles of new trails and access to outdoor adventure for the community. This gorgeous piece of Spokane history spans 1,060 acres…1,060 opportunities for Glen Tana to remain a part of Spokane’s wild and free future.

Some things are better left untouched, unspoiled, and wild.

SOME THINGS ARE BETTER LEFT BARE.

Conservation is part of our legacy.

For more than 30 years, the Inland Northwest Land Conservancy has worked hand-in-hand with local landowners, community members, and organizations to protect the special places that make our region so unique. From preserving wildlife habitats to ensuring access to nature for everyone, we’ve safeguarded over 27,000 acres of land for future generations. And now it’s time to preserve just a little bit more.

Places like Glen Tana are where families hike, kids learn about nature, and wildlife thrives. These are the spaces that define our region, contributing to our quality of life and offering everyone a chance to experience the outdoors in its purest form.

Your support of this conservation project will permanently protect these 1,060 acres and fund future conservation efforts. You’ll help safeguard clean water, provide safe habitats for wildlife, and preserve open spaces where people can reconnect with nature. Together, we can ensure that the wild beauty of Glen Tana remains, not just for us, but for the generations to come. After all – conservation is more than just a state of mind – it’s in our nature.
