Hello Palisades Friends!
We are very excited to have you join us on Saturday for a trail clean-up project at Palisades City Park! It’ll be a great day to be outside on the lands we love.
The clean-up will focus on removing trash from the trail starting at the parking area off of Greenwood Road. The Friends of Palisades and Inland Northwest Land Conservancy will provide all the materials you’ll need to help with this cleanup, like gloves and bags. Just bring your good energy! Registration is technically closed for this event, but we’d still love to have you join us – you’ll just need to sign a paper waiver instead of a digital one when you join us tomorrow.
See below for more details about the work party!
Where: The Greenwood Parking Area of Palisades Park (here’s a Google Pin if you need help navigating!)
When: Saturday, April 19th, 9am-Noon
Snacks and warm beverages will be provided, so come a little early if you’d like to have a nibble and chat before the work party starts!
What to Bring:
- Weather-appropriate layers (weather on Saturday is showing 42-62 degrees and a 25% chance of rain during the work party)
- Sturdy boots or hiking shoes
- Plenty of drinking water
- Your usual good energy!
We’re looking forward to seeing you on the land this Saturday! If you have any questions before the work party, please reach out to Rose Macaulay at rmacaulay@inlandnwland.org.
See you soon!
