We will be conducting a tree thinning project to reduce fuel load for fire protection. This event will focus on removing ponderosa saplings from dense thickets of conifers. We will also be conducting ladder fuel reduction. This consists of limbing select branches from trees to reduce the chances of a wildfire reaching the canopy of the forest.
