Did you know that many of the beautiful species we hike, bike, and drive by every day contain medicine? Medicines for pain relief, healthy skin, cuts and bruises, and to ward off or treat sunburn, just like we buy at the store, all exist in nature!
To learn more about these species, how to identify them, how to gather them responsibly, and translate the gathered plant into medicine we can put in our pocket, register for this workshop! We’ll be gathering species at the Waikiki Springs Nature Preserve property.
Every person that attends will get a full kit to gather materials and finish your medicine at home. To cover the cost of the materials, we are asking for a small registration fee.
