June 10th – Liberty Lake Hike

June 10, 2023 8:00 am 20

Volunteer hike docent, Patti Ziegler (pictured to right) is leading a hike at Liberty Lake on Saturday, June 10th starting at 8am. Patti grew up in the Spokane area and fell in love with the outdoors here. A local snowbird, she became an avid steward of the land as a volunteer at the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, which she tells me is America’s largest urban preserve, just outside of Scottsdale, Arizona. Read more on Patti in this Conservancy blog post!

Please note this Liberty Lake hike is more difficult than hikes we usually host at about 7.5 miles in length taking approximately 4 hours. Hiking pools are recommended along with plenty of water and snacks.
