Once in a thousand years wind and water conspire to form places as unique and naturally beautiful as Hog Canyon. This spectacular canyon is located out in the channeled scablands of Eastern Washington between Fish Trap Lake and Hog Lake. The wildflowers and cultural plants will all be at the height of their spring blossom and ready for our visit on Sunday, May 1st. This is the type of outing where you will want to bring your binoculars and nature journal due to the jaw-dropping views replete with songbirds and almost every kind of duck found swimming through the waters of the Inland Northwest. The cost is $20.
