September 2 – Liberty Lake Hike

September 2, 2023 8:00 am 20

Volunteer Hike Docent, Patti Ziegler (pictured above), will lead a hike at Liberty Lake on Saturday, September 2nd starting at 8am. Patti grew up in the Spokane area and fell in love with the outdoors here. A local snowbird, she became an avid steward of the land as a volunteer at the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, which she tells me is America’s largest urban preserve, just outside of Scottsdale, Arizona. Read more on Patti in this Conservancy blog post!

This 7.5 mile hike is more difficult than our usual offering. With challenging uphill & downhill, hiking poles are very helpful. Please also bring water, & snacks as the hike could take approximately 4.5 hours.
