Events

The Conservancy believes in the power of connecting people to nature. Our events are designed to give participants a unique view of lands we protect and an understanding of why they matter. We also work to instill the value of natural places in our community to raise up a human support structure for the earth here in the Inland Northwest.

Glen Tana Guided Winter Walk

Date & Time: Sunday, February 8 | 10 a.m.
Location: Glen Tana (directions and details will be provided)
Duration: 3 hours

Join Hike Docent Alana Livingston for a 3+ mile guided, moderate hike through the Glen Tana Conservation Area, a largely wild stretch of land along the Little Spokane River currently opening up for thoughtful exploration. We’ll be on trails that offer varied terrain and an opportunity to be present with the landscape and each other.

January conditions can include snow or ice. If snow is present and you have snowshoes, feel free to bring them; otherwise, sturdy footwear and layers appropriate for winter weather are recommended.

This hike is paced to allow room for walking and listening, not speed or technical challenge.
