The Conservancy believes in the power of connecting people to nature. Our events are designed to give participants a unique view of lands we protect and an understanding of why they matter. We also work to instill the value of natural places in our community to raise up a human support structure for the earth here in the Inland Northwest.
Did you know that many of the beautiful species we hike, bike, and drive by every day contain medicine? Medicines for pain relief, healthy skin, cuts and bruises, and to ward off or treat sunburn, just like we buy at the store, all exist in nature!
To learn more about these species, how to identify them, how to gather them responsibly, and translate the gathered plant into medicine we can put in our pocket, register for this workshop! We’ll be gathering species at the Rimrock to Riverside property.
Every person that attends will get a full kit to gather materials and finish your medicine at home.
To cover the cost of the materials, we are asking for a small registration fee.
