Events

The Conservancy believes in the power of connecting people to nature. Our events are designed to give participants a unique view of lands we protect and an understanding of why they matter. We also work to instill the value of natural places in our community to raise up a human support structure for the earth here in the Inland Northwest.

June 6 Waikiki Springs Trail Building

Join us on National Trails Day (June 6, 2021) and start the process of updating the trail system at Waikiki Springs to work better for human users and protect important habitat within the preserve.  After months of planning INLC staff are ready to clear brush and form new paths through the nature preserve while also working to decommission old unsustainable trails on the property.  Tools will be provided and no experience is necessary.  Minimum age to participate is 10.  Trail work can be some of the most rewarding stewardship work, and your crew leader will be Todd Dunfield – INLC’s community conservation program manager.
