Events

The Conservancy believes in the power of connecting people to nature. Our events are designed to give participants a unique view of lands we protect and an understanding of why they matter. We also work to instill the value of natural places in our community to raise up a human support structure for the earth here in the Inland Northwest.

Hike Along the Little Spokane: Glen Tana & Waikiki Springs

Date & Time: Sunday, March 15 | 10 a.m.
Location: Starting point at Glen Tana (directions and details will be provided)
Duration: Approximately 3 hours | 4+ miles

Join Hike Docent Alana Livingston for a guided walk exploring Glen Tana and Waikiki Springs, two neighboring properties along the Little Spokane River with a shared past and a long relationship to the surrounding landscape. Visiting both sites together offers a chance to experience the river corridor as a connected place, shaped by water, use, and change over time.

The walk will move at a moderate pace, with time to pause and reflect as we travel through both properties and consider how people have related to these lands across generations.

March weather can be variable. Please dress in layers and wear footwear appropriate for changing trail conditions.
