The Conservancy believes in the power of connecting people to nature. Our events are designed to give participants a unique view of lands we protect and an understanding of why they matter. We also work to instill the value of natural places in our community to raise up a human support structure for the earth here in the Inland Northwest.

What did Waikki Dairy have in common with Nine Mile Falls Dam, Whitworth University, and Manito Park? Where is all that water coming from? What are nurse logs? Learn this and a whole lot more with volunteer docent Joe Spitz at Waikiki Springs Nature Preserve on Saturday, May 17th, starting at 9 am.
This moderate hike is just under 4 miles, lasting about 2 hours, depending on the pace. There will be several stops along the way. Wear sturdy shoes and dress according to the weather. Remember to bring water and sunscreen!

*A Discover Pass is required only in the few spots adjacent to the trailhead. There’s no need for a pass on the street.
