The Conservancy believes in the power of connecting people to nature. Our events are designed to give participants a unique view of lands we protect and an understanding of why they matter. We also work to instill the value of natural places in our community to raise up a human support structure for the earth here in the Inland Northwest.
Guided Foraging Hike with Herbal Expeditions
Join hike docent Alana Livingston and survival expert and herbalist Charlie Bouck for a guided hike exploring the edible and medicinal plants of the Inland Northwest. With over 20 years of experience, including military survival training, Charlie shares practical knowledge about identifying and using wild plants. This hands-on experience is perfect for anyone curious about nature, wellness, or outdoor skills. This 2.5 mile hike takes about an hour and a half on moderate trails.
