Events

The Conservancy believes in the power of connecting people to nature. Our events are designed to give participants a unique view of lands we protect and an understanding of why they matter. We also work to instill the value of natural places in our community to raise up a human support structure for the earth here in the Inland Northwest.

May 22 – Waikiki Springs BioBlitz

Come join the INLC Stewardship Team at Waikiki Springs Nature Preserve for a day of citizen science! During this field day (9am-2pm), we’ll be collecting biological information about the property including vegetation species identification, wildlife data collection, soil sampling, and forest canopy analysis.

If you have experience with this, great! If you don’t, no problem! We’d love to have you join us either way! Our staff and group leads will provide you with the tools and resources you need to gather useful information.

This is a longer field day, so please plan ahead. Pack a lunch, plenty of water, your favorite field guides, and binoculars.
