The Conservancy believes in the power of connecting people to nature. Our events are designed to give participants a unique view of lands we protect and an understanding of why they matter. We also work to instill the value of natural places in our community to raise up a human support structure for the earth here in the Inland Northwest.

May 31 – Antoine Peak Summit Hike

Join volunteer docent JoAnne Baldwin on a hike up Antoine Peak on Saturday, May 31st starting at 9 am. Antoine Peak is a great spot to enjoy wildlife, some wildflowers, and a walk through the forest. We’ll take a breath at the top and take in the view of Spokane Valley, Mount Spokane, and the surrounding areas.

This 5-mile hike is moderately difficult, with 600 ft of elevation gain, and should take approximately 2.5 hours to complete based on the group’s pace. Please dress in appropriate attire (layers are recommended!) and bring your own water, sunscreen, and snacks.
