Events

The Conservancy believes in the power of connecting people to nature. Our events are designed to give participants a unique view of lands we protect and an understanding of why they matter. We also work to instill the value of natural places in our community to raise up a human support structure for the earth here in the Inland Northwest.

Native Plant Potting at Glen Tana

Nursery ImageJoin us on Thursday, April 16th from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM for a hands-on, feel-good volunteer day as we launch our first Native Plant Potting Event of the season and get things growing at our expanding Native Plant Nursery!

Get your hands a little dirty (in the best way) as we work together to pot bareroot native plants into larger containers. These plants will spend the summer growing strong before being used in important native planting projects this fall—so your efforts will have a lasting impact on our local landscapes and ecosystems.

What to expect:

  • A fun, relaxed volunteer environment
  • All tools and materials provided by INLC
  • Snacks and beverages available onsite
  • A chance to learn, connect, and make a difference

What to bring:

  • Lunch and any extra snacks you’ll want during the day
  • Your favorite camping chair or something portable to sit on

Good to know:

  • A portable restroom will be available onsite
  • Dress for the weather and expect a bit of dirt—this is a hands-on project!
