Events

The Conservancy believes in the power of connecting people to nature. Our events are designed to give participants a unique view of lands we protect and an understanding of why they matter. We also work to instill the value of natural places in our community to raise up a human support structure for the earth here in the Inland Northwest.

October 2 – Glen Tana Thursdays

Date & Time: Thursday, October 2 | 9 a.m.
Location: Glen Tana (directions and details will be provided)
Duration: 5 hours

This project we will be focusing on removing interior fencing around Lockhart Field. This will involve removing barbed wire, cattle panel fencing, and T-post. Organizing those materials to be removed from site and recycled.

Wear weather-appropriate clothing, work boots (or hiking boots), and bring your favorite work gloves if you have them. Bring your lunch and snacks for the day, but we will provide some snacks and beverages as well. T-post removers, fencing pliers, eye protection, and other tools and PPE will be provided. Work gloves will also be available to borrow.

Look forward to seeing you there!
