Events

The Conservancy believes in the power of connecting people to nature. Our events are designed to give participants a unique view of lands we protect and an understanding of why they matter. We also work to instill the value of natural places in our community to raise up a human support structure for the earth here in the Inland Northwest.

September 19th Volunteer Land Steward Training

The Volunteer Land Steward Program is a great fit for you, if:

  • You want to explore new places and enjoy being active in nature
  • You are interested in citizen science
  • You like taking initiative
  • You are good at educating the public on the work you’re doing and how they can help the land too
  • You like working independently or as part of a small group
  • You are tech savvy and willing to learn our app-based monitoring software
  • You want to be part of a strong stewardship community

During this training, we’ll discuss who INLC is and how we steward lands in our region, how you can help us to get good work done on our beloved landscapes, and go through some basic field safety. Once you’ve completed this training, you can adopt a site from our approved list and schedule an orientation site visit with us to get started!

CAPACITY FOR THIS EVENT HAS FILLED! IF YOU’RE STILL INTERESTED IN BECOMING A STEWARD WITH US, PLEASE REACH OUT TO ROSE RICHARDSON AT RRICHARDSON@INLANDNWLAND.ORG TO BE PUT ON A WAITLIST!
