The Conservancy believes in the power of connecting people to nature. Our events are designed to give participants a unique view of lands we protect and an understanding of why they matter. We also work to instill the value of natural places in our community to raise up a human support structure for the earth here in the Inland Northwest.

Date & Time: Saturday, October 25 | 9 a.m.
Location: Slavin Conservation Area (directions and details will be provided)
Duration: 3 hours
Help wetlands thrive! Join us on Saturday, October 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Slavin Conservation Area with our partners from US Fish and Wildlife Service, Spokane County Parks, and the Natural Resources Conservation Service as we plant another wave of native trees and shrubs. Last year, volunteers helped us add over 1,200 plants to this beautiful wetland habitat and we’re aiming to match (or beat!) that number this year. Every set of hands makes a difference in restoring this critical ecosystem. Come be part of it!
Please bring weather-appropriate layers/clothing, sturdy work boots, work gloves if you have them, and a refillable water bottle.
Shovels and other digging tools, work gloves to borrow, drinking water, coffee/tea, snacks will be provided. A reminder email with all the details will be sent a couple days before the event.
Look forward to seeing you there!
Thanks for your interest! We are no longer accepting registration forms for this event. Check out our events page for more options.
