The Conservancy believes in the power of connecting people to nature. Our events are designed to give participants a unique view of lands we protect and an understanding of why they matter. We also work to instill the value of natural places in our community to raise up a human support structure for the earth here in the Inland Northwest.
Spring has sprung, and with it comes the return of many of our favorite feathered friends! Celebrate the season with us on a guided birding hike through the beautiful Waikiki Springs Conservation Area.
This moderate 2–3 mile hike will take approximately 3 hours as we explore the scenic trails of Waikiki Springs Conservation Area. Led by docent Bernie Bank and featuring special guest birder Lindell Haggin, this experience offers a relaxed, educational pace perfect for observing and learning about the birds returning for the season.
Lindell will help you spot and identify local bird species and share tips to enhance your birding experience.
