The Conservancy believes in the power of connecting people to nature. Our events are designed to give participants a unique view of lands we protect and an understanding of why they matter. We also work to instill the value of natural places in our community to raise up a human support structure for the earth here in the Inland Northwest.
Today we will be cajoling rocks and dirt into the perfect locations for strong trails that will last decades. If trails are built with rock they often last for centuries. We welcome all volunteers over the age of ten. No past trail building is necessary to join us. Early April weather can be quite uncertain, please come prepared for all types of weather. We can guarantee weekend work parties often include the most thankful hikers passing through the work project site.
