In 1991, the Inland Northwest’s first of its kind land trust was formed thanks to the diligent efforts of eleven passionate and engaged volunteers. Today, more than 22,000 acres, 65+ miles of shoreline and millions of gallons of clean water are protected, thanks to their efforts and years of investment by staff, volunteers, and community supporters.
In this fall’s newsletter, founding member Debra Schultz shares the cookie recipe she used for early meetings at the Conservancy’s formation.
