Introducing Michelle Anderson – New INLC Board Member

August 29, 2016

Michelle Anderson is excited to apply her knowledge and experience to help INLC do great things. She owns Anderson Environmental Consulting LLC, a small consulting firm that completes biological studies, environmental planning and permitting in Washington, Idaho and Montana. Prior to starting her own business Michelle had worked for Avista, David Evans and Associates, WSDOT, Thurston Conservation District and the Smithsonian Institution. She has seen how exciting voluntary conservation can be for landowners and realizes the community benefits of water quality, habitat and open space protection. It felt natural for Michelle to join the INLC board. Michelle went to Western Washington University majoring in biology with focus in botany and environmental education. Her interests include traveling, expanding her knowledge of plants, natural history, botany and cultural resources, and enjoying the outdoors through various activities including trail running, hiking, and skiing which make this area ideal.
