Instead of scaring you this Halloween, we’re sharing something beautiful.
Earlier this year, Inland Northwest Land Conservancy partnered with Gonzaga University and Rogue Heart Media on a special creative collaboration celebrating our shared love of the land. The result is Inland Viewscape — an original piece by composer Dr. Michael Kropf, performed by the Gonzaga University Wind Ensemble and inspired by the Conservancy’s Rimrock to Riverside conservation success.
Created as a meditation on place, change, and presence, this work invites listeners to slow down, listen deeply, and connect with the rhythm of the natural world.
Thank you to Dr. Michael Kropf, Gonzaga University College of Arts and Sciences, the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center, Dr. Peter Hamlin, Professor of Music at Gonzaga University, Cody Barnhart for his beautiful drone footage, and Rogue Heart Media for capturing the performance on film.
Take a few moments to watch, listen, and reflect on your own connection to this beautiful place we all call home.
