Today, musicians Olivia Brownlee and Michael Kropf released Someplace to Belong to, a collaborative work created on behalf of Inland Northwest Land Conservancy. At the Conservancy, creativity helps us communicate complex ideas, inspire connection, and explore innovative approaches to protecting the lands we love.
This collab was recorded on a cold, crisp morning at Glen Tana among the birds, trees, and the beautiful moose that happened to run by during the filming.
We are deeply grateful to the artists who share their talents with us. Thank you to Rogue Heart Media for the thoughtful video production, to Resonant Media for sound recording, Dan the Piano Man and team for your assistance with moving the “Glen Tana Pianna,” and to Olivia Brownlee and Michael Kropf for creating something beautiful in tribute to place, community, and conservation.
As the year comes to a close, we’re holding a lot of gratitude – for the artists, storytellers, and supporters who make this work possible, and for the lands and waters that continue to inspire care and protection.
From all of us at Inland Northwest Land Conservancy, thank you for being part of this community. Wishing you happy holidays, a peaceful season, and always – someplace to belong to.
