Pot Donations for Native Plants Needed!

May 24, 2024

Spring is here and our stewardship crew is hard at work!

Do you have any planting pots laying around after a big nursery purchases? Not sure what to do with them? Well, we would like to offer those pots a good home!

Your Conservancy is looking for donations of planting pots to be used in our restoration efforts happening on properties we’ve helped conserve across the Inland Northwest. Due to high demand and increase material cost, we need your help in order to make these projects happen. Our stock of bareroot plants need to be potted before they’re transplanted later this year.

What we’re looking for…

  • Plastic pots
  • Decent condition (no cracks)
  • Size: 1-gallon, 2-gallon, 5-gallon. Mostly looking for 2- and 5-gallon pots

We will be collecting pot donations at our Expo 50 booth on June 1st at Riverfront Park between 11am-4pm. If you would like to make a donation but cannot stop by on June 1st, please email Preserve Manager, Steven Eddington, to coordinate a drop of time ~ seddington@inlandnwland.org.

Thank you for continuing to play an important role in this Conservation Community!
